The YouTube Alphabet
Just in case you care, here's a pretentious explanation of why I made this:
The internet is a collective body of knowledge so ubiquitous it infiltrates our everyday conversations, both on and offline. By their very nature, memes and fads enter our cultural consciousness in a flash and seem to disappear just as quickly, but is it possible that they actually stay embedded (youtube pun, score!) for far longer? The power of words has been the subject of many a 11th grade English essay; there is no denying their obvious importance in any communication platform. But in a multimedia environment, why not incorporate lasting images and videos to fully demonstrate the issue, to create a more multi-layered definition that acknowledges our expanding methods of exposure and comprehension. This goes one step further, removing traditional definitions and replacing them with popular YouTube videos that in some way embody that word.
